Trust and Purpose in the new normal – Chris Coulter, Globescan


Chris Coulter, CEO of GlobeScan, discusses Trust and Purpose in the New Normal through the results of a global public opinion survey with 27,000 respondents, conducted in June 2020.

Highlights from the survey on public opinion and expectations from businesses show that, while Covid-19 is a major concern globally (68%), other issues such as climate change, inequalities and extreme poverty are also quite high on the global public agenda.

Despite the worldwide economic anxiety, there is a growing concern around climate issues.

Chris discusses how the business world is shifting in this ‘new normal’ era, as we see a rise in public trust in global companies.

The challenge now is for companies to maintain those rising levels of trust and translate them into action.

Chris continues the discussion with Daniela Prusky-Sion, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director at L’Oréal Israel.
