Trust in the food sector has risen during the Covid crisis. Giora Bardea, CEO of Strauss Group, discusses the importance of food as an anchor of stability during unstable times and the role that food producers took upon themselves.

Trust is a key word across all discussions: how do you maintain trust with your employees? How do you instill a sense of security amongst your customers? And the importance of helping your suppliers, especially the small and vulnerable ones, communities and NGOs and social partners, all of which need additional help in these times.

Giora relates to the target Strauss has set for itself to be a trustworthy company, and the strategic plans put in place in order to achieve that goal – a systematic and long term working plan aimed to create a purposeful company where its employees share the company’s values-based approach.

As for the post covid world, Giora envisions a hybrid lifestyle and the expectations from the business sector to provide goods and services that will accommodate such a hybrid world.
