Arun MahtaniVP Channels Strategy and Digital Content, Communications at Teva Pharmaceuticals


Arun joined Teva in November 2017. He works in the Corporate Brana and Communications team, helping the company develop deeper and more meaningful relationships with its stakeholders. He shapes digital strategies and builds content operations that deliver valuable, relevant content. He implements and manages a connected ecosystem of paid, earned and owned platforms and channels. Previously he worked in Hong Kong as Chief Content Officer for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region at Edelman, the communications firm. In that role he supported some of the world’s biggest companies and brands, including Janssen, Starbucks and Manulife. Arun also has over 16 years of experience as a media professional, having worked in print, television and digital. At Thomson Reuters, he was global head of production for Reuters Insider, the multimedia platform. He helped build the product from the ground up, working hand-in-hand with journalists, corporate clients and developers. Prior to that, Arun was head of Bloomberg’s UK television channel where he led a team of 47 journalists through the 2008 credit crunch. The channel received several awards, including the Association of International Broadcasting’s “Best Rolling News Provider.” Arun is from London and obtained a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree from Oxford University. He now lives in Hampshire, England with his wife and two children.
