Cristina Gil, vp sustainability & Kacy Karlen on ORBIA’s Impact mark


Kacy karlen, director of content & communication at Orbia (Netafim parent company), talks about the first ever evolving logo which is a first of its kind performance mark that tracks Orbia’s progress around its sustainable goals relating to People planet and profit and its impact. The companies purpose is advancing life around the world and the mark allows the different leadership teams around the globe to drive collective action under the theme of doing well by doing good.

Cristina Gil, vp sustainability, joind Orbia with a wealth of experience from the environmental movement and leads Orbia’s work on developing a sustainable strategy that works towards a circular economy vision. Cristina discusses the wide materiality assessment it has conducted where the 3 leading themes were health & safety, communities resilience and emissions goals. The covid pandemic actually allowed for building the sustainable strategy of the company and its advancement.
